Heatwave Electric Underfloor Heating

Company and Product Overview

Heatwave is set up to exploit the surface heating market made up of primarily commercial and private domestic electric ‘on demand’ under floor comfort heating. By making use of an electric cable 2.7mm in diameter, the heating can be installed in both new and existing homes using strict installation methodology.

What makes Heatwave surface heating an attractive option is the economy associated with running the heating in an area for as long as it is needed at the temperature comfortable for the areas purpose.

Unique to Heatwave is our recognition of varying climatic conditions and specific requirements. During installation, it is important to take into account, the type of substrate and floor covering and its thickness to determine the wattage required to heat the floor and hence the room. In so doing we do away with the ‘hope that will do approach’ of a standard pitch in pre-manufactured heater mats with set wattages.

Surfaces we Heat

Because each room has its own thermostat, Heatwave comfort heating is a responsive product that is run where you need it, when you need it and for as long as you need, at the required temperature. The object of surface heating is to loose into the room the heat from the heated floor as soon as it is generated.

Installation of underfloor heaters are only restricted by access to a power point and that the heater has to be installed before the floor coverings go down. The cooling down time of the surface heating is the same as the warming up time, so for greater economy programmable thermostat is installed.

Heatwave, unlike its competitors, make up all under floor heaters on site and do not install pre-manufactured standard mat sizes and then try to fit them to the room finally gutting a heater mat to fill in voids.
